The University of Adelaide
Global Citizens Scholarship 2021-2025
This scholarship rewards international students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification who have received academic merit in their studies.
Value of the scholarship
The scholarship offers a reduction of between 15% and 30% of the tuition fee for the minimum standard duration of the scholars chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Commencing an undergraduate qualification
- Year 12 overseas student with a minimum ATAR equivalent of 80 for a 15% scholarship.
- Year 12 overseas student with a minimum ATAR equivalent of 90 for a 30% scholarship.
Commencing a postgraduate qualification
- Grade point average (GPA) of minimum 5.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 15% scholarship.
- Grade point average (GPA) of minimum 6.0/7 or equivalent to receive a 30% scholarship.
The scholarship has the following conditions
- Available for students commencing in the period between 2021-2025;
- Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
- A minimum GPA score;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Available for study in any discipline (exceptions apply).
Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) 2021-2025
The 2021-2025 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) is a highly competitive award that rewards commencing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework international students who have demonstrated academic excellence in previous studies.
Value of the scholarship
Each Faculty will award only two scholarships of a 50% reduction of the tuition fee to the applicant in their faculty with the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.
Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available for students commencing in the period between 2021-2025;
- Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Available for study in any discipline.
Academic eligibility
The selection process for The 2021-2025 University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarships is competitive, with academic achievement forming the main basis for scholarship selection. As a general guide, the University of Adelaide will consider applicants who have achieved an academic level on par with the following:
- For undergraduate programs: Raw ATAR of 98 OR its equivalent
- For postgraduate coursework programs: A GPA 6.8 out of 7 OR its equivalent
Higher Education Scholarships
2021-2025
The Higher Education Scholarships rewards undergraduate and postgraduate ( by coursework) international students who have demonstrated their passion for learning and loyalty to Australian education by successfully completing their year 12 high school studies (undergraduate only) or AQF-recognised course or program at an Australian higher education institution, prior to commencing their degree at the University of Adelaide.
Value of the scholarship
The scholarship offers a 25% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar's chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available for students commencing in the period between 2021-2025;
- Available for commencing direct-entry international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, including those who are required to undertake a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to their degree commencement;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Open to international students undertaking Australian curriculums onshore in Australia who have achieved academic merit in their studies by achieving a minimum ATAR score of 80, or International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 28 including:
- Australian Capital Territory Year 12 Certificate(ACTE)
- New South Wales Higher School Certificate (HSC)
- South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)
- Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE)
- Victoria Certificate of Education (VCE)
- Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)
- Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)
- Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE)
- Provides a waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the degree program.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Either be an alumni (graduate) of an AQF-recognised Australian Higher Education institution or have completed an onshore Australian Year 12 qualification with a ATAR of 80 or an onshore IB Diploma with a total of 28;
- Have a University of Adelaide offer of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
- Complete the acceptance process as outlined in your offer of admission and enrol in a full time study load for each study period of your degree.
Alumni Scholarships (International) 2021-2025
The 2021-2025 University of Adelaide Alumni Scholarship (International) rewards the international graduates of the University's undergraduate and postgraduate programs (international alumni) who have demonstrated their passion for learning and loyalty to the University by commencing in a second, third or fourth degree at the University
Value of the scholarship
The scholarship offers a 25% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar's chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available for students commencing in the period between 2021-2025;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Provides a waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the degree.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Either (a) be an alumni (graduate) of the University of Adelaide or (b) must be due to graduate with a University of Adelaide degree prior to commencing in the next program of study;
- Meet GPA criteria of 4.0/7 or above;
- Have a University of Adelaide offer of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
- Enrol in a full time study load for each study period of your degree;
- Complete the acceptance process as outlined in your offer of admission.
The
University of Adelaide College International Scholarship 2021-2025
The 2021-2025 University of Adelaide College International Scholarship rewards the international graduates of the University of Adelaide College.
Value of the scholarship
The scholarship offers a 10% tuition fee reduction for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholar's chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available for graduates of the University of Adelaide College commencing at the University of Adelaide in the period between 2021-2025;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Provides a waiver of 10% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the degree.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a graduate of the University of Adelaide College;
- Have a University of Adelaide offer of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
- Enrol in a full time study load for each study period of the degree;
- Complete the acceptance process as outlined in your offer of admission.
